How do I join MatchGeni? Create a free account with your email address or your Google account, then follow the short profile builder. You choose what you share and can edit any answer later.

Is MatchGeni free? Yes. The Basic plan is free for friendship. Friendship and Dating is $30 for six months, and Dating and Matrimonial is $60 for twelve months. Paid plans unlock match requests, the AI writing assistant and the profile video.

Why can't I send a match request? Sending and receiving match requests is part of the paid plans. Open the Plans page to upgrade, and your request will send straight away.

Who can see my photos and video? Your main photos are visible to signed-in members. Your group photo and your intro video are visible only to members you have matched with, and to our support team if you ask us to review something.

Can I hide my gender or my exact location? Yes. You can hide your gender from your public profile in the profile builder, and we only ever store your town, never a precise address.

How do I report or block someone? Every profile and conversation has a report and block option. Blocking removes that member from your feed immediately and stops them contacting you. Our moderators review every report.

How do I cancel or change my plan? Open Billing in your account. You can see your renewal date, change plan, or stop a renewal at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

How does the affiliate programme work? Apply from the affiliate page. Once approved you get a personal referral link and earn 10% of every paid membership bought through it, tracked in your affiliate dashboard.
